FOR TEACHERS we offer class observation that costs 10 EUR / day. If you apply for only one week, you have to pay 50 % of the total price of the compulsory and optional subjects. Classes are held from Monday to Saturday, starting at 8.30 a.m. Tuition fee = registration fee + fees of subjects ALL APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE CONFIRMATION AND DETAILED INFORMATION BY 25 JUNE! Banking charges are to be covered by the applicant! Discounts: The HDA cannot offer scholarships. Fee reduction might be available for participants coming from economically less favoured countries or in need due to individual situation. Please enclose a letter of request when submitting the application form. All requests are to be put forward by 15 June. BOARD Participants can be accommodated within the campus grounds, in the Academy’s dormitory (twin and triple rooms with shower are available). For participants applying for the full course: 15 July – 28 July 2012 For participants applying for only the 1st week: 15 July – 21 July 2012 For participants applying for only the 2nd week: 22 July – 28 July 2012 We can not offer accommodation without meals! It is possible to order two or three meals a day. Fee of accommodation and meals: For two weeks: board, with 3 meals per day: 585 EUR For one week: board, with 3 meals per day: 290 EUR For two weeks: board, with breakfast and lunch OR dinner: 465 EUR For one week: board, with breakfast and lunch OR dinner: 240 EUR Please, indicate on the application form if the main meal should be lunch or dinner. We can offer lunch for the participants not staying in the dormitory, but it has to be ordered beforehand. Only lunch: For two weeks: 120 EUR For one week: 60 EUR All orders must be indicated clearly on the application form and the payment has to be done by 30 June. We can not take into consideration orders arriving later than this date or any post-resignations (due to the external suppliers)! We might provide (depending upon availability) accommodation for travel companions in the dormitory. The price for one night, with meals included is 50 EUR (in case the order and payment arrives before 30 June). The price for one night without meals is 20 EUR. Please, inform us about any guest accommodation request as soon as possible. You may need to stay an extra night in the dormitory; in this case places are only available right after the finishing of the course (28th of July). The cost for an additional night (out of your course participation) is 20 EUR, no meals provided. CANCELLATION, REFUND If circumstances make it impossible for you to attend, cancellation should be sent to us in written form by 30 June 2012. In case of late arrival or early departure there is no refund of tuition fee. Partial refund is possible when presenting a medical certificate concerning injury/illness that occurred during the course. In the morning handing over certificates, performance; departures from 2.00 pm. INSURANCE The HDA is not liable for any injuries, accidents or property damages incurred during travelling to and from Hungary or during the course. Students are requested to purchase an insurance covering the costs of any medical treatment and property damage or loss during their stay. In the event of a medical emergency costs are to be covered by the student. Students from the EU states are also asked to bring their European Health Insurance Card, too. Please send a copy of your insurance by fax or by e-mail (scanned) before arrival! MISCELLANEOUS The course will be held in the studio building of the Hungarian Dance Academy. Address: H-1145 Budapest (14th district) Columbus utca 87-89. We are situated nearby the ‘Mexikói út’ end-station of the underground Line 1 (yellow). Class schedule will be handed out at the registration. Local transportation: the two-week pass costs 6,500 HUF (cca 25 EUR); for the two-week pass you will need a passport photo. If you arrive on Sunday you can buy travel pass at Deák Ferenc central metro station. Single tickets are available from machines at the stations (320 HUF). (Costs subject to change – information valid in March 2012.) Participants must provide their own outfits (pointe, soft and jazz shoes, boots, skirts etc.) Taking notes, photos or recordings during the classes is strictly forbidden. Classes as well as the closing ceremony will be recorded by the Hungarian Dance Academy and copies of the recordings might be ordered during the course. |
